Carson, CA -- The 2005 Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics Golf Classic is set for Friday, June 3, at the prestigious and beautiful Lakewood Country Club in Lakewood, CA. This annual event serves as the major fundraiser for the Toros athletics program, with all proceeds going towards student-athlete scholarships.

The day begins with a 6:00 a.m. registration and continental breakfast, followed by a 7:00 a.m. shotgun start. The four-man best-ball scramble will include contests for closest to the pin and the longest drive, along with many other surprises for the day’s participants. Lunch will be served following the round of golf, which immediately will be followed by a both a live and silent auction consisting of many one-of-a-kind items. Additionally, a raffle will take place throughout the afternoon featuring CSUDH merchandise, apparel and other valuable prizes.

There are only a handful of foursomes left in the tournament, so be sure to reserve your spot today by downloading the information brochure / entry form and returning it as soon as possible. The entry form can be found on The Toros Online using the above link. Also, sponsorship packages are available to help fund student-athlete scholarships for the coming years.

The deadline for entry fees, participants and sponsorships for the 2005 Golf Classic is Friday, May 20, and should be sent to the Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics Department.
