Cal State Dominguez Hills Announces Summer Baseball Camps

Carson, CA — The 2005 Cal State Dominguez Hills baseball team has released dates for its baseball camps. Here is a brief description of the camp, with dates attached.

2005 Toros Baseball Camp For youth from grades K-

• Session 1: July 11-14, 2005 (at Toro Field) 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• Session 2: July 18-21, 2005 (at Toro Field) 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• Session 1: July 25-28, 2005 (at Toro Field) 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Campers will receive personalized instruction from Toro coaches and baseball players, covering the art of game strategy as well as specialized stretching and conditioning techniques. Each session will conclude with a “water puddle” sliding demonstration by Toro players and campers on the proper technique for sliding, with the overall camp emphasis focusing on a positive attitude towards fellow campers and the game of baseball.

Registration per session is $75, with family discounts (10% off for 2 campers, 20% off for 3 or more) and team discounts (20% for 5 or more players from the same team). Carson, Wilmington, San Pedro and Harbor City / Gateway residents can apply for scholarships and may receive up to 50% off total camp fee.
