Carson, CA -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills Toro student-athletes have showed their winning ways not only on the playing field, but in the classroom as well. Ending the spring semester, a total of 53 student-athletes finished the term with at least a 3.0 GPA, led by baseball’s Michael Brown, volleyball’s Sylvia Bonilla, women’s soccer’s Sandra Lloyd and Jessica Gatica, men’s soccer’s Shogo Okuma and cross country’s Jenny Buncio, who ended spring 2005 in between 3.80 - 4.00.
