The “13th Annual Travis Jackson 6-A-SIDE Boys and Girls High School Soccer Tournament,” will be held on the campus of Cal State Dominguez Hills, Saturday and Sunday, July 16-17.

The tournament, formerly known as the “South Bay 6-A-SIDE” and hosted by South Torrance High School, was renamed in 2001 after the passing of Travis Jackson in 2000. Jackson graduated from South HS in 1999, where he was an All-CIF goalkeeper for the Spartans. He then attended L.A. Harbor JC and was on track to transfer to Cal State Dominguez Hills until a fatal car accident tragically took his life.

The 6-A-SIDE tournament is a fun and high-scoring event, enjoyed by players, coaches and parents alike. The spirited atmosphere of the tournament is geared toward mirroring the way Travis lived his life.
