Carson, CA -- Cal State Dominguez Hills
search for its new Athletics Director is nearing a close as four
finalists have been chosen for the vacant position, it was
announced by Dr. Alonzo F. Rodriguez, CSUDH Associate Vice
President for Student Affairs and Chair of the Athletics Director
search committee.
Each of the final candidates has, among
their successful careers, a history of community outreach,
collaborative relationships within the institutions, fundraising
and successful athletic programs, Dr. Rodriguez begins.
We're looking for the best fit
for Dominguez Hills, the one most capable of taking our athletic
programs to the highest level while continuing to ensure support
for our student-athletes in successfully obtaining a University
diploma.
The four finalists are listed in order of their
scheduled interviews:

As part of a day-long interview, all four
finalists will take a campus tour and meet with the CSUDH
Athletics Department staff and coaches before facing the campus
community in an open interview session. The open interview
sessions, being held from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. in Educational Resource
Center (ERC) A506, will allow faculty, staff, students and other
interested parties to receive the candidates resume prior to
each sessions commencement, and complete an evaluation form
providing feedback to the search committee members.
