Fullerton, CA -- Cal State Dominguez Hills true
freshman Kristin Glen (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA/Trabuco Hills,
HS) paced the Toros cross-country team at the season opening
Jammin' Invitational, placing 99th as the Toros finished 23rd as a
team.
Glen, competing in the first collegiate race of
her career, finished the 5k race in a time of 21:15.20 and paced a
contingent of five Toros competing in the Invitational amongst
Division I powerhouses such as UCLA, San Diego State, Loyola
Marymount and host Cal State Fullerton.
The University of San Diego's Tiffany Marley
took the season opener, crossing the tape in a time of 18:26.00,
while UCLA took the team title, averaging a time of 19.22.74. Cal
Poly Pomona placed the highest finish amongst CCAA schools, taking
7th overall.

The Toros next compete at the UC Irvine
