Huntington Beach, CA – True freshman Kristin Glen (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA/Trabuco Hills HS) led the Toros at the UC Irvine Invitational this afternoon, crossing the line of the 5k run in a time of 20:19.1, finishing in 61st place. The Rancho Santa Margarita native finished just a little over two minutes later than Katie Lee of Chico State, who won the race in a time of 17:59.1. As a team, Chico State picked up win with 48 points, while the Toros finished 17th of 17 schools. Other CSUDH results: Valerie Tucker, 91st (20:56.1), Monica Marroquin, 112th (21:24.3), Pamela Gonzalez, 155th (23:02.8), Breanna Foster, 168th (24:16.8), Leslie Gonzalez, 173rd (25:19.2) The Toros head to San Diego next Saturday to compete in the San Diego State Invitational, beginning at 8:00 a.m. |
