Women's Track Completes Stay in Northwest; Sweeps 60-Meter Hurdles Event at UW Open
January 15, 2006

Seattle, WA – At the University of Washington Open Meet, the Toros would take first, second, and third in the 60-meter hurdles. Meia Tezeno led the trio of Toros, posting a first place time of 8.96 seconds. Grace Fitchett and Alexandria Anderson would capture second and third with times of 9.00 seconds and 9.10 seconds, respectively.

Other CSUDH results are:

  • 60-meter dash: Brandy Zeigler, 7.98 (3rd), Alexandria Anderson, 8.45 (22nd)
  • 400-meter dash: Marisha Satchell, 1:00.61 (7th), Evelyn Graham, 1:01.75 (11th), Kelly Smith, 1:01.78 (12th), Grace Fitchett, 1:04.87 (22nd), Dorthy Andrews, 1:05.48 (25th), Stephanie Peoples, 1:05.65 (26th)
  • 1000-meter run: Kristen Glen, 3:17.86 (7th)
  • 60-meter hurdles: Meia Tezeno, 8.96 (1st), Grace Fitchett, 9.00 (2nd), Alexandria Anderson, 9.10 (3rd)

CSUDH will continue their indoor season on February 4th, at the Mountain T’s Invite.
