The Cal State Dominguez Hills men's basketball team totally dominated the boards at Chico State and used this 53-38 rebound edge to gain a 75-67 CCAA win Friday night in Acker Gym.

Mike Steed led the Toros (9-13, 6-9 CCAA) with 18 points.

Andy Bocian led the Wildcats (7-15, 6-9 CCAA) with 17 points, but shot just 6-of-21. Pat Galos played well off the bench for Chico State, tallying 14 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Jarred Contente scored 11 points on 3-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc. Brandon Sligh scored 11 points.

Trevon Bryant finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Toros. Nonso Nibo came off the bench to shoot 8-of-14 and scored 17 points. He also grabbed seven rebounds.

The Toros continue on the road with a Saturday night game at Cal State Stanislaus.
