CSUDH Athletics Set to Host Luncheon for Area Businesses
Inaugural event scheduled for Friday, April 7, at DoubleTree Hotel, Carson Civic Plaza

Carson, CA -- Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics has reserved Friday, April 7, 2006, as the date for its inaugural business luncheon, it was announced by Patrick Guillen, CSUDH Athletics Director.

“This business luncheon, which is just one of many events that we will be planning to get more involved with the business community, will highlight our programs and show the mutual benefits of being involved as a corporate sponsor with Toros Athletics,” begins Guillen.

“We have an incredibly supportive administration behind us, a great Athletics staff, world-class coaches and top-notch student-athletes, but quite simply need friends in the community -- which includes current and future corporate sponsors, fans, parents and alumni -- to help provide the monetary support that will allow each and every one of our 11 programs to vie for a national championship each and every year.”

The complimentary luncheon, hosted by CSUDH’s new corporate sponsor the DoubleTree Hotel, Carson Civic Plaza will take place from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. It serves as an opportunity for businesses from Carson, Long Beach, Santa Ana, Huntington Beach, Torrance, Whittier, Costa Mesa and surrounding communities to not only learn about CSUDH Athletics, but also network among existing Toros corporate partners.
