Cal State Dominguez Hills Men’s and Women’s Basketball Announce Summer Basketball Camps
Sessions for both boys and girls begin June 26-June 30

Carson, CA — Both Cal State Dominguez Hills men’s and women’s basketball programs have released dates for their respective summer basketball camps, and each camp is sure to bring even more heat to what’s promising to be a sunny summer season. Here is a brief description of each camp.

CSUDH Men’s Basketball Presents the 2006 Coed Basketball Camp for Boys and Girls (ages 6 to 15)

  • Session 1: June 26-June 30 (at the Torodome) 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Session 2: July 17-21 (at the Torodome) 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Come learn offensive and defensive skills in all three positions: point, wing, post. You will learn from Division I and Division II coaches, win awards and take home both tangible skills and intangible memories. Video analysis of shooting technique and swimming when time permits are two more highlights of this camp.

CSUDH Women’s Basketball Presents the 2006 Camp Fundamentals Basketball Camp for Girls and Boys

  • Session 1: June 26-June 30 (at the Torodome) 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
  • Session 2: July 31-August 4 (at the Torodome) 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

The main focus of the camp will be intensive work dealing with basketball fundamentals. Campers will learn, hone and improve upon both offensive and defensive fundamentals. With individualized instruction and thorough attention to all facets of the game, this camp is ideal for any middle or senior high school age player wanting to play college basketball.
