Carson, CA The Cal State Dominguez Hills
Mens Soccer team took time out of its spring workouts to
visit Caldwell Street Elementary School on April 27, joining
community members as part of the schools College
Career Day.
The Far West Champions spent time with the
students answering questions ranging from post-graduation options
to reasons the team likes the sport, and had the chance to
demonstrate their talents with a soccer ball in front of an
enthusiastic group of first and second graders.

Visiting the kids at Caldwell
was a great experience, not only for the players who attended, but
for the coaching staff as well, begins CSUDH mens and
womens soccer assistant coach Jeff Tuttle. Its
always fulfilling spending time with kids and talking about
college and CSUDH soccer, and Im glad both our
student-athletes and the kids at Caldwell had a chance to
experience this opportunity.
In addition to the Toros soccer team, police,
paramedic, and firefighters from the city of Compton were all in
attendance.
