Toros Cross Country Kicks Off 2006 Season at UC Irvine Invitational
Tucker leads the trailblazers, posting a time of 21:31.9
September 9, 2006

Carson CA – Senior Valarie Tucker (Downey, CA/El Camino CC) showed her leadership as she posted the fastest Toro time in the first meet of the season at the UC Irvine Invitational, crossing the 5K finish line in a time of 21:31.9.

The UC Irvine Invitational fielded runners from Division I programs such as UC Irvine and UC Santa Barbara, as well as many fellow CCAA schools and Division II.

Other CSUDH results are:

  • Kelly Coral: 22:17.8 (137th)
  • Victoria Radke: 24:29.1 (162nd)
  • Dorthy Andrews: 28:53.1 (182nd)
  • Alexandria Anderson: 30:30.6 (183rd)

The Toros will next compete at the Cal State Bakersfield Invite on Saturday, September 23 at 8:30 am.
