Tucker Leads Toro Charge at 5k UNLV Invite
Three Toros in finish in the top-25
October 7, 2006

Las Vegas, NV - Valarie Tucker (Downey, CA/El Camino College) once again led the CSUDH Cross Country team with a time of 20:55 to finish 17th at the UNLV Invite held at Floyd Lamb State Park in Las Vegas, NV.

Unattached runner Andrea Palacio would take first place, finishing in a time of 17:32, more than 40 seconds ahead of the second place finisher.

The meet was made up of five schools, with Cal State Northridge grabbing the top team finish, followed by LA Trade, host UNLV, CSUDH, and East LA College.

  • Pamela Gonzalez - 21:38 (25th)
  • Victoria Radke - 23:16 (33rd)

  • Anna Hernandez - 26:38 (40th)

The Toros will next be in action Saturday, October 14, at the Cal Poly Invite, hosted by Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, with a scheduled start time of 8:30 am.
