CSUDH's Graham, Polak, Reinhardt Named 2006 Daktronics Men's Soccer 1st-Team All-Region Selections
Trio now eligible for All-America honors, to be announced on November 27

Rohnert Park, CA - Cal State Dominguez Hills seniors Jesse Graham (San Diego, CA/Pt. Loma HS), Kyle Polak (Huntington Beach, CA/CS Fullerton) and LJ Reinhardt (Palos Verdes Estates, CA/LMU) all were named to the 2006 Daktronics Men's Soccer Far West 1st-Team, as voted on by a panel of sports information directors from the California Collegiate Athletic Association, Great Northwest Athletic Conference and Pacific West Conference. With their selections, all three now are eligible for All-America honors, with those results to be announced on November 27.

Sonoma State's Andrew Bailey, who was named the CCAA Player of the Year last month, took home the Far West's Player of the Year award.

Graham, the Toros' only four-year letter-winner, garnered his first All-Region award after being named to the 1st-team All-CCAA squad last month, giving him three all-conference nods in his career. The San Diego native, who claimed his first CCAA Player of the Week award in the regular season's final weekend to help CSUDH secure the 4th and final spot in the conference tournament, moved into 4th on the CSUDH all-time assist list, 9th on the all-time points list, and 10th on the all-time goals list as he led the Toros with 8 goals, 6 assists and 22 points.

Polak, a three-year starter for CSUDH who was the overwhelming choice as 1st-team keeper with 12 of 17 first place votes, established himself as arguably the greatest keeper in the storied history of the CSUDH men's soccer program. The Huntington Beach native set the marks for most wins and most shutouts in a career, and capped his Toro legacy by earning the 2nd-lowest goals against average mark in a CSUDH career. A three-time All-CCAA selection, Polak earned a 1st-team nod in 2006 by boasting a league-leading 9 shutouts and a paltry 0.82 GAA.

Reinhardt, a transfer who completed his final year of eligibility in Cardinal & Gold, helped anchor a revamped defense that boasted 10 shutouts on the season and allowed just one goal in seven other contests, adding a 1st-team All-Region honor to his 2nd-team All-CCAA accolade.

Cal State Dominguez Hills, which claimed its 7th CCAA Championship on October 29 with a 2-1 win over cross-town rival Cal State L.A., had the most first team honorees with three, while Far West champion Seattle University and Seattle Pacific led the way with five total selections each.
