Carson, CA -- Cal State Dominguez Hills has
named Lisa Mabry the Compliance Coordinator for the
Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, it was announced earlier
by CSUDH Athletics Director Patrick Guillen.
I am pleased to have Lisa as our
permanent Compliance Coordinator, said Guillen. Lisa
has a real interest and passion in what she does, and it shows.
She is efficient, highly organized, intelligent, and a great fit
for our Athletics team. As a former Toros student-athlete, Lisa
understands the importance of her role in the department and that
understanding, coupled with her experience, dedication and
commitment to our students, will lead to a very successful and
long career in the field of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Mabry currently is in her fifth year in the
Athletics Department and, as the Compliance Coordinator and
designated Senior Woman Administrator, is responsible for gender
equity as the Title IX administrator, acts as the liaison between
the department and NCAA/CCAA with all compliance concerns, serves
as the National Letter of Intent administrator and advises
student-athletes and prospects both academically and regarding
their eligibility.
A member of the CCAA Legislative Committee,
Lisa earned her BA in Communications from CSUDH, and completed her
MBA from CSUDH in May 2006. Prior to her administrative career,
she served as an assistant softball coach from 2002-04 after
enjoying a two-year career on the diamond from 2000-01.
Lisa and husband Mike enjoy raising two dogs
and two cats, and reside in Lakewood. |
