New NCAA Initiative
Launched, "Why I Chose Division II" |
At the recently completed NCAA Division II National Championships Festival in Pensacola, Fla., a new strategic initiative was launched for Division II athletics. The new strategic messaging and imagery include an "I chose Division II" theme and signage. The NCAA recently released a video showing several student-athletes and coaches at Division II institutions who spoke on why they "chose Division II". Featured from Cal State Dominguez Hills are: Dr. Boice Bowman (VP for Student Affairs), Mario Guerrero (Men’s Soccer), Denise Herrera (Women’s Volleyball) and Corrie Hirokawa (Women’s Soccer).
