Fifty-Five Toros Earn CSUDH Athletics’ Fall Honor Roll Accolades

Carson, CA -- Cal State Dominguez Hills women’s soccer players Candace Hearn (Whittier, CA/Whittier HS) and Sandy Lloyd (Fountain Valley, CA/Fountain Valley HS) joined volleyball’s Jenise Espindola (Lake View Terrace, CA/Verdugo Hills HS) and softball’s Jessica Marlow (Huntington Beach, CA/Edison HS) with perfect 4.0 grade point averages during the fall semester, leading a collection of 55 Toro student-athletes who earned at least a 3.0 GPA at the end of 2006.

Overall, softball boasted the most honorees with 10 players named to the fall honor roll, while women’s soccer and cross-country/track and field each had nine selections and baseball and volleyball followed with seven honorees each.
