Carson, CA -- A three-person crew from Cox
Communications, Inc. made its first foray onto the Cal State
Dominguez Hills campus last week, interviewing the coaches and
players from the womens basketball team for its Meet
the Team segment which is scheduled to air on February 22.
A camera man, producer and host, from the
nearby Torrance branch, arrived to campus at approximately 3:00
pm, and began interview the players first, followed by the
coaches. With producer Carlos Rivera manning the camera, host
Kirran Moss, who actually played against head coach Van Girards
Toros as a member of the Cal State L.A. womens basketball
team in 2002, conducting the interviews, and Cox Communications
crew member and former CSUDH baseball player Danny Jacobs aiding
both personnel, the outing lasted approximately 2 hours, with the
final filmed segments occurring on the sidelines of practice, and
outside the Hughes Athletics Center.
