Toros Sprint Relay Nabs 2nd place Finish at USC Trojan Relays
March 3, 2007

Los Angeles, CA – The Toros Outdoor Track & Field team continued its 2007 outdoor season at the USC Trojan Relays, with CSUDH’s 800 Sprint Medley grabbing top honors with a 2nd place finish in a time of 1:46.58.

The relay team, comprised of Danielle Lewis (Los Angeles, CA/LA Southwest College), Shammeer Dawson (Los Angeles, CA/El Camino College), Deborah Bowser (Long Beach, CA/Cerritos JC), and April Panteau (Long Beach, CA/Long Beach CC), would finish behind host USC, which broke the tape in a time of 1:41.54.

Other CSUDH results:

  • 100 Meter Hurdles: Alexandria Anderson (15.08, 4th),
  • 400 Meter Hurdles: Alexandria Anderson (1:08.56, 5th), Natasha Kenion (1:15.68, 8th)
  • 4 x 200 Meter Relay: Danielle Lewis, Deborah Bowser, April Panteau, Shammeer Dawson (1:41.23, 4th)
  • 4 x 400 Meter Relay: Danielle Lewis, Deborah Bowser, April Panteau, Shammeer Dawson (4:01.33, 6th)

The Toros continue their outdoor season Saturday, March 17 at the UNLV Dual Meet.
