Services

CLASS has a variety of services to help you succeed in your educational goals while at Dominguez Hills.

Tutoring
Tutors are available on a first come first served basis. You can also make an appointment during a tutor’s available hours. Group tutoring sessions may also be arranged.

Study Space
We have ample study space available in the general tutoring labs. If you need a quiet area, we also have breakout rooms for individual and group study sessions.

Study Skills
The study skills information section has a variety of subjects and links which may help you with your studies.

Group Tutoring / Supplemental Instruction (S.I.)
S.I. tutors are available for designated courses. These tutors will facilitate weekly out of class group study sessions for students enrolled in the course.

Computer Assisted Instruction & PLATO
We have a library of current computer software designed to help you improve your, reading, writing, math and study skills. Use of these programs allows you to work independently.

Also, we have PLATO, a tutorial software to enhance your English and Math skills or to sharpen your CBEST, Math 011-014 skills. PLATO is a self-paced computerized tutorial that offers both instruction and exercises.
