A: It is a program that enhances Math, Writing and test taking skills. It offers both coursework and instruction to help students learn to master basic skills.
2. Q: How long does it take?
A: Since it is a self-paced and self-motivated program, it is up to you to decide how much time you would like to invest in the program.
3. Q: How can it help me?
A: With some time and effort, you can take advantage of PLATOs specific alignments and course work that will help you sharpen and review basic skills.
4. Q: Will PLATO help me pass the CBEST
or MAT 011-016?
A: Since PLATO is not a quick fix solution to passing tests or classes, it can only be used to help you improve your skills.

5. Q: When can I work with PLATO? A: You can work on PLATO during CLASS center hours. Once you have attended a registration and introduction workshop (appointment required see below), no appointment is necessary to work with PLATO. Just walk into any of our labs during its business hours and get to work on your coursework. Consult the current schedule to see when our labs are open.
6. Q: What if I need help with the coursework?
A: No problem. CLASS tutors will be available to help you answer any questions that you might have about the coursework. Simply, fill out a tutoring request form, and a tutor will help you with your questions. Just remember that since PLATO is a self-paced, self-motivated program, tutors will not sit through your entire PLATO session.
