PeopleSoft and Accessibility
If you encounter an inaccessible feature in a CMS module, we want to know about it so that we can facilitate its correction by Oracle/PeopleSoft. Please do one or more of the following, indicating the specific PeopleSoft functionality that is causing you difficulty:
Oracle/PeopleSoft has taken steps to make its products usable and accessible, with a special focus on those users who are accessing the products with assistive devices. Read Oracle Product Accessibility Status for comprehensive details. Here is a short summary the accessible features provided with the base products and with templates to be used by customers [such as the CSU] who create custom applications:
- Navigation through pages with the keyboard in addition to or instead of a mouse;
- The addition of alt-text to images;
- The addition or relocation of labels to ensure that data entry fields have labels near the entry fields;
- Assurance that if color is used to convey meaning, the same information is presented in another way as well (e.g., with text or shapes).
