Career Placement

We are proud of the number of candidates who are currently serving as leaders in our schools. To date we have:

• Counseled hundreds as they apply, interview, and start their first leadership positions
• Counseled many in their second and third administrative positions
• Mentored graduates thinking of changing district and/or geographic areas
• Coached graduates needing to “get out of a situation” tactfully and smoothly
• Consulted with new principals on-the-job in challenging situations Graduates can contact us for information about future workshops or career counseling services.

Career Focused, Opportunities to Network Throughout

From day one, our students become members of the Leadership Learning Community (LLC), a professional network that includes alumni, faculty, and other local educational leaders. When our candidates graduate from the CSUDH Educational Administration Tier I program they continue to be members of this strong community of leaders. The LLC offers ongoing networking and job placement opportunities throughout the program and after graduation.

Each of our faculty offers an extensive professional network due to their wide-ranging administrative experiences in many districts throughout California. Our faculty have been superintendents, assistant superintendents, directors, and principals to name just a few of the many positions they have held.
