The
Curriculum & Instruction M.A.
Option at CSU, Dominguez Hills,
provides an advanced-level
integrated course of study
within specific areas of
Curriculum & Instruction.
Following completion of this
option, the student will be able
to assume professional
leadership in developing,
implementing, and evaluating
instructional programs.
Alternative I
-
Complete an approved program
with a minimum of 24 units
of coursework with at least
a B (3.0) average (including
core courses).

Complete an approved thesis
or creative project (6
units). Thesis preparation
guidelines may be obtained
from the campus bookstore or
from the CSUDH website.
Students may enroll for
thesis credit with advisor
approval after completing 21
hours of coursework with at
least a B average.
Alternative II
-
Complete an approved program
with a minimum of 30 units
of coursework with at least
a B (3.0) average (including
core courses).

Pass the M.A. Comprehensive
Examination in Curriculum &
Instruction. After
completion of all
coursework, or during the
last semester of coursework,
the M.A. degree candidate
may apply to take the
comprehensive examination.
