The
M.A. Multicultural Option provides
graduate level preparation for
professional educators and other
individuals who wish to work
effectively with multicultural
and multilingual learners. This
includes both the MA in Education
(Multicultural Option) and our
state-approved CLAD certificate.
Currently, we prepare
individuals to work with
culturally diverse learners
ranging from Pre-K through
adult. The majority of our
graduates are employed by the
public school districts
throughout Southern California.
Many of our graduates fulfill
leadership roles in the schools,
as they are asked to demonstrate
their ability to successfully
instruct linguistically and
culturally diverse populations.
By utilizing highly efficient
instructional strategies,
education is made accessible to
all learners.
