Pre-Teaching Program – Multiple Subject Credential
The
Pre-Teaching Program is designed to provide support for
students who plan to enter the Multiple Subject
Credential Program, but have not yet passed CSET.
This is a one-semester program that includes both
subject matter preparation and credential coursework.
Application deadlines:
Summer

Admission Requirements:

Application to the university, with official
transcripts and $55.00 fee

Application to the Multiple Subject Pre-Teaching
Program*, including

Passing CBEST scores
-
Transcripts (may be
unofficial), with GPA of 2.67 overall, or 2.75
in last 60 units
-
Certificate of
Clearance, emergency or substitute permit, or
pre-intern certificate
-
TB test results,
emergency or substitute permit, or pre-intern
certificate
-
CSET scores**
-
Evidence of having
met Constitution requirement
-
$50.00 fee

After successfully
completing the Pre-Teaching Program, AND passing the
CSET, you will automatically be accepted into the
Multiple Subject Credential Program.

deadline, please submit a copy of your test
registration form.

CSUDH Liberal Studies students who have taken LBS 400
during Fall 2003 or later are excused from this course.
