Appointed as WASC co-chair—in this role, serve as: chair of WASC Sub-Committee on Diversity and member of University Planning Committee, Academic Affairs Council Plus, Academic Quality,  Program Review Panel, and WASC Sub-Committee on Civic Engagement.
  • Performance and Assessment of California Teachers (PACT) Consortium, (2005-present). Appointed as PACT director for the Division of Teacher Education to serve on this state level committee and serve as liaison between the state level PACT and the CSUDH TED PACT committee. Oversee alignment of teacher performance assessments to PACT.
  • Association of American Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE), (2002-2004). Selected by the Dean to attend AACTE/NCATE sessions.
  • California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (2002-2004). Selected by the TED Department Chair to attend the Teaching Performance Assessment (TPA) Technical Assistance Workshops in Sacramento and other venues.
  • American Education Research Association (AERA), (1999-Present). Member and member of Division K. In April 2003, served as member to develop a new SIG-Social Justice in Teaching.
  • College of Education Evaluation Committee Member, (1999-Present). As Director of Evaluation and the NCATE co-chair, worked with members to develop COE unit assessment plan for NCATE 2004 visit.
