Steps to Joining TTT

If you would like to join our program, please follow these steps:

  • Call us at 310-243-2668

  • Attend one of our information sessions and learn more about our program

  • Schedule interview with the Transition To Teaching Team

  • If eligible, attend TTT Application Workshop

  • Complete application and obtain all materials needed to complete application packet

  • Submit complete application on specified deadline

  • Await letter of acceptance and class schedule! Congratulations

Program Criteria

We are looking for recent grads (within the last 3 years) or mid-career professionals who have never taught and who have not taken any credentialing courses elsewhere.

  1. Bachelor’s Degree

  2. Minimum 2.75 Overall GPA

  3. Pass CBEST exam

  4. Pass CSET exam (or have approved waiver letter)

  5. Meet U.S. Constitution requirement

  6. Pass Interview

  7. Be eligible for university and TED admissions and district employment

  8. Above all, a passion for teaching!!
