Diploma
You will not receive your diploma on commencement day. Instead, you will receive a Certificate of Participation. Diplomas are issued by the University after verification that all your degree requirements have been met. You will be notified by mail (at the address on your graduation application) when diplomas are available for pick up at the Office of Records (approximately two months after graduation). Please make sure to notify the Office of Records of any changes of address.
All students who have earned degrees during the summer of 2008 or fall 2008 semesters, or is a candidate for a degree in spring 2009 are invited to participate in the 2009 Commencement on:
- Thursday, May 21, 2009 – Graduate & Hooding Ceremony for Master students
- Friday, May 22, 2009 – Undergraduate Ceremony for Baccalaureate students
Participation is a matter of choice. It is not required in order to receive your degree. However, students must complete an online Commencement Participation Form in order to participate in the ceremony. The Commencement Participation Form will be available online before the end of Fall 2008.
