BIO
Professor Johnston worked in the neuropsychiatric hospital at UCLA for 34 years. For most of that time she was involved in partial hospitals. For several years she worked in the adult partial hospital doing cognitive behavioral groups and case management. She also worked with eating disordered adults in an intensive outpatient program. Later she worked in adolescent partial hospital with the general adolescent population and eating disordered adolescents where she did cognitive group intervention, team leading, and program direction. In addition, she enjoys the opera and is a member of and educator for the Opera League of Los
Angeles.
