BIO 

Marilyn has worked in peds, phys rehab, geriatrics over her 35+ career in OT.  Her passion has remained though with youth and primarily the   at risk » adolescent populations in mental health.  Her career in mental health began at UCLA-NPI, which led her to the love of community based services.  Her leadership and management positions in this arena include:
Special Services for Groups-OTTP Division and second Director of the program, who developed job training grants for serious, chronic offenders, Asian gang and probation based programs, Asian residential program, drug/alcohol program, designing multi-agency collaboratives, e.g., VIDA-LA Co. Sheriff’s Dept., parents/youth and OT’s.
Part time instructor, Loma Linda University-OT Dept., teaching 12 units mental health courses in undergraduate program.
First Program Coordinator of CSUDH, undergraduate OT program, co-author of its first Self Study and accreditation in 1998.
Chief Operations Officer, Masada dba Counseling and Research, 2003-2008, currently Director of Training.
