Designed for upper division and transfer undergraduate students majoring in math or the sciences, the Noyce Scholars Program at CSUDH's School of Education prepares dedicated, well qualified undergraduates to become math or science teachers urgently needed in our local schools. Noyce Scholars receive up to $20,000 in scholarship assistance plus extensive academic support and mentoring to put them on the path to becoming life-changing teachers.

Candidates emerge from the Noyce Scholars Program with hands-on experience in a paid Teaching Assistant position under the guidance of teacher mentors. They also have the unique opportunity to participate in CSUDH's Transition To Teaching (TTT) or Urban Teacher Residency (UTR) Programs that allow them to earn a preliminary teaching credential in just one year while earning living stipends.
