Curriculum and Instruction

Improving student learning.

Offered through CSUDH's School of Education, the master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction prepares educators to develop and introduce innovative strategies, techniques and programs designed to improve student learning. Candidates develop the advanced knowledge and skills to design, implement and evaluate instructional programs that enhance classroom teaching, while also enhancing their value as instructors.

This flexible program allows up to 12 units of electives (total 30 units) from credential classes (9 unit limit) and/or other post-baccalaureate coursework. Within the required courses, majors choose a curriculum specialty such as science or reading.
