Equal access to quality education.
Today's local urban schools reflect a diverse environment of multicultural, multilingual learners. The Multicultural Education Program at CSUDH's School of Education prepares school leaders to support the success of these diverse schools and their student populations.
Candidates emerge from this program with the solid base of knowledge, collaborative and communication skills and understanding to lead school programs and initiatives related to multicultural education and multilingual settings; help teachers and schools integrate multicultural content into classroom instruction and effectively transition schools to become integrated educational environments where every student has equal access to quality education as well as equal opportunity to learn, grow and reach their potential.
