Program Supports
The Multiple and Single Subject Intern Program offers many levels of collaborative support among the University and School sites. University support is provided by course instructors, faculty advisors, fieldwork supervisors, Student Services, TED Division and University support staff, and the Intern Program Director and Support Staff. School-site support is provided by school administrators, counselors, school psychologists, related services personnel, and individually assigned support providers.
This collaborative community allows school-site personnel in concert with university personnel to provide comprehensive supports for Interns who must learn their craft as students, practice their craft as novice teachers, and be evaluated on their craft as school employees.
Additional Grant supports for Interns, Fieldwork Supervisors, and Support Providers are:
- Workshop Training for Support Providers
- Professional Development for University Supervisors
- Stipends for Support Providers and Interns
