WELCOME to the CSUDH
Special Education University
Intern Program!
The
program prepares educators
to teach culturally and
linguistically diverse
students in urban school
settings. This effort is a
collaboration between the
university and the school
district or Non-Public
School (NPS). Coursework and
continuous on-the-job
supervision from the
university faculty and
school district support
providers are the heart of
our credential preparation
program.
We have agreements with
forty-seven (47) school
districts and thirteen (13)
Non-Public and Charter
Schools. The
program has received a grant
from the California
Commission on Teacher
Credentialing. Interns and
their support providers
receive benefits to assist
the intern during their
Preliminary Level 1
Education Specialist
Program.
If you have any questions
that are not answered on our
website, please contact Dr.
Carrie Ann Blackaller either
by e-mail

We look forward to
meeting you!
