Students who would like to begin taking
coursework in the Multiple Subject,
Single Subject, or Special Education
Programs may enroll in the Pre-Teaching
Program. Students enroll in the
Pre-Teaching Program if they have not
yet met their subject matter requirement
(CSET or subject matter waiver). To be
eligible for the Pre-Teaching Program,
all other admissions requirements must
be met.
Once accepted into the Pre-Teaching
Program, students enroll in *designated
courses from the Multiple Subject,
Single Subject, or Special Education
Credential programs. Beginning in fall
2006 Pre-Teaching Program students can
enroll in optional Multiple Subject CSET
preparation modules through Extended
Education or call 310-243-3741 for
more information.
Students who have been accepted into one
of the Pre-Teaching programs will be
transferred to the appropriate
credential program (Multiple Subject,
Single Subject, or Special Education)
once they have met the subject matter
requirement for that program.
