CSUDH Inaugural Pow Wow
Dominguez Hills will have its first American Indian pow wow in decades on Saturday, April 30, from 11am to 6pm in the Sculpture Garden. The theme this year is “Honoring the Indigenous People of the Americas.” The event will feature exhibition and social dancing, frybread, and Native American Arts and Crafts. The public is welcome, but don’t forget to bring you own chairs. Parking is $4. For more information call 310 243-2438.
The pow wow will be held in the grassy area in the campus Sculpture Garden adjacent to Lot 6. See the link to the map of the campus and driving directions below.
