The Office of Admissions and Records is responsible for determining student eligibility for admission to and graduation from the university.  We process and evaluate applications and transcripts for admission purposes and are also responsible for determining student residency status, establishing student records, updating transfer credit, and maintaining transfer articulation agreements.  Additionally, we register new and continuing students for classes, maintain academic records, prepare transcripts, and research and review petitions for exception to University policy.

For questions regarding your admission status, please call the Voice Response System at (310) 243-2000.  You can use the telephone to check the status of your admission application, application deadlines, and to request application materials.  You will be asked to enter your CSUDH ID number or User Name and a PIN (Personal Identification Number).   • Fall 2008 Deadlines
    Admission Application Information:
  • The application deadline for First Time Freshman is Saturday, March 1, 2008.  The application deadline for Transfer and Graduate students is August 29, 2008.
  • Payment of the $55 application fee may be done by credit card or check.  Using the credit card option will expedite the processing of your application as CSUDH must receive payment before your application will be reviewed. 
  • The application deadline for international students (both undergraduate and graduate) is June 1, 2008.
  • Admission for unclassified post baccalaureate applicants is closed.
  • Please go to www.csumentor.edu and complete the online admission’s application.
  • Applicants will receive an acknowledgement of their application within two weeks.
  • Be sure to submit all documents and/or official transcripts.  Once your file is complete and ready for review, you will be notified within three to four weeks.
