Students in Dr. Margaret Blue’s Political Science 101 honors class were treated to a talk on Nov. 18
by an official from the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Dan Iannicola, Jr., Esq., deputy assistant secretary
for Financial Education, travels the country at least twice a month talking to students from second grade
to college, and young adults in the military about choices and consequences in how they manage their money.
As a quote-unquote Washington insider, he often also provides his young audience with a look at the ins and
outs of Washington D.C. politics.
