In making the box and conceptualizing the importance of the box and sociology was that Pattern Recognition is important. Pattern Recognition could include; color, lines, shapes, facts, process to understand the outcomes. What occurs is that you end up memorizing the pattern and figuring out the process of a situation, being aware of the process to understand the social issues. Hope it makes sense, Jeanne.

Yes, Miguel, it makes sense to me. To a stranger you would need to point out that the recognition of the pattern of squares makes it easy for you to replicate the process without memorizing steps, and that by using the box as a visual stimulus you can make the whole process more readily understood.
