Message 7783:
It's extremely important to spread the opposition of this proposition 65. I as a mother found it disturbing because I, like everyone else, purchase toys and objects that can be harmful to our children as well as ourselves. I think our government should play close attention to what is being used in the making of these products. I have appreciated your teachings on this particular proposition, and I have enjoyed passing out cards I have made in your class and office to spread the news about this Proposition. Veronica Marquez
Reply:
It does concern all of us, and our attempts to make others aware of the Proposition 65 warnings of toxic elements in our products should help trigger better education on such issues.

Wow, this experience was very different yet very interesting. At first it seemed pointless to me, just folding edges away and gathering them together, seemed to go nowhere, but when I started putting my box together it just started getting very interesting, and i truly had a great time and enjoyed making my box, thank you for sharing this activity with us, i appreciated it. This box can be interpreted different by many, but my opinion, what I got out of making this box is that one can see the inside of this box and focus on their inner problems and the outside as their outside problems, but then realize that just like one can put together a box, they can put together their lives where they exactly want it to be. Very well put in your own words, Veronica. This illustrates well how a visual interpretation can help us to understand where the words may not catch our attention. I would like you to add to this for Statistics a recognition of how the box can become simple enough to do without a pattern just by recognizing the pattern of squares.
