Local Hub Sites Hi Jeanne. I just wanted to tell you that I am happy
to see so much information on Day of the Dead up on
the site. Day of the Dead is an important day for
Latinos because it is a traditional day. My mom always
celebrates it by taking the time and remembering all
of her dead loved ones. There is a great exhibition of
altars in the Pueblo Gallery in Olvera Street. I went
last Saturday. I also bought a shirt to celebrate day
of the dead, but I didn't know who the artist of the
artwork was. When I went into the site I found out
that the artist was Jose Guadalupe Posada, and the
artwork is titled "El Jarabe en Ultratumba." Once
again, thanks Jeanne for being open to different
cultural beliefs.
