let us not forget that last week the final installment of US Blackhawk
helicopters arrived. then all of a sudden the Government announced that the
peace talks had "collapsed." right. As for the New Speak Times coverage of
Central America during the 1980s, i was down in Nicaragua investigating
contra atrocities for a week in 1985, including up in the war zone near
Matagalpa. When i got back i read the Times coverage of Nicaragua for that
week. it was like night and day, what i had experienced and what he
reported--his name escapes me right now. i stayed in the Intercontinental
Hotel, where the Times reporter was headquartered too. could not really
understand it, so i spoke to a friend of mine who worked for the Times: "He
is such a coward. It is well known at the Times that he does all of his
reporting on the war from the Intercontinental Hotel." fab.
