OK, guys. I think I screwed up the order a little here. Jolie, could you make the necessary corrections? and I'll upload them.

This is data in the real world. Jolie e-mailed her correspondence with Father Peter Mobe. In doing that she also gave me the questions she had asked him. I'm racing to get the site indexes updated for the moot court class, and so I'm switching back and forth between tasks. This is what a research center is really like. It's not calm, quiet, linear work. Many deadlines conflict, and we juggle to cover them all.

This particular submission of Jolie's is really helpful. By the time we clean up this file, Jolie will have one of her appendixes done. And Berthena and Kerry will have good examples of how to handle their correspondence.

Jolie, you're doing a great job. And I'll get to your review of literature soon.

love and peace, jeanne

I am sure that you are just like me and can't wait for it to be all over. I was just wondering how the questions are coming. If you would like you can just send me one or two at a time. I didn't want them to be too time consuming for you. I don't know if you have access to the computer all of the time if not you may want to mail them to me.

Jolie Gibbs xxxx

Thanks again for the help. Your friend Jolie

Hi, Father Mobe. Thank you so much for responding to my request for help. I think your personal experience will be invaluable to my thesis. I hope your new year is off to a good start and I will try not to take up to much of your time. I have a few questions that would help me for my thesis but first I need the name and address of the Church you represent and your explanation of your job at the "outstations" in the congo, just so I can have a clear background for my thesis.

Questions ( I am focusing on mainly women for my study)

  1. What is the role of women? Are women dominated or equal to the men?

  2. What social behavior contributes to women catching and spreading aids? (could you please explain ka-ja again?)Have you hear of the men with AIDS "cleansing" their body by sleeping with a virgin?

  3. What kind of education do women get concerning aids? (Church or other)

  4. When a woman has AIDS how is she treated in the community?

  5. If a woman has AIDS what kind of health care is available?

  6. Finally, in your opinion, what can be realistically done to prevent the spread of AIDS?

Thank you again for your help I will be looking forward to your reply
