One day recently Ruth Doddy wrote to Olivier Urbain:
I am a student of Jeanne Curran's. I "stumbled" into the TAP website and started exploring. I found what I read to be calming and positive. I am impressed with the Resolution of September 14, 2001. The statement on firmly establishing a lasting peace in our own hearts and in the hearts of everyone touched me deeply. I want peace and I am pleased that there are groups such as TAP working towards that goal.Thank You

Dear Ruth Doddy:Thank you very much for your message. You seem to have grasped the essence of TAP very quickly! What about you, what kind of art are you interested in? How do you see the relationships between art and peace? Let me know!

Ruth and Olivier, I was delighted to find this exchange in my e-mail today. You know, it's terribly difficult to take that first step and talk to an Other whom you've never met. the insecurities of beginning a new dialog are sometimes even greater on the Internet. What if they don't answer, don't care, don't think I fit in? Been there, felt that. So, I'm proud of you, Ruth, for taking that leap. And I'm delighted to welcome you, Olivier, over here to Dominguez Hills. Such leaps are the essence of turning the Web into a tool for peace.love and peace, jeanne
