This essay means to trace a few sources for teachers and others who wish to make art available and bring art to the attention of their communities in the interest of greater human understanding. Many of these resources have been created for the exclusive use of academic art departments in the handing down of professional disciplinary knowledge. But that is a very very limited view of the teaching and sharing of art in the Twenty-First Century.
