Thomas Landefeld [SMTP:tlandefeld@cas.csudh.edu] The attached email describes the ASI Technology Advancement Program (TAP) grants. In the past, CAS faculty have been most successful in receiving these resources for IT needs in the College and we anticipate another year in which CAS proposals will do well. The letter of intent is due 2/11/02. Please note that for this year, ALL letters of intent for proposals by CAS personnel are to be submitted to the CAS Dean's Office. Following that step in the process, ALL proposals are to be submitted to the Dean's Office for review by the CAS IT Advisory Committee. As a result of this process: 1) CAS IT will be aware of the proposed requests (this is critically important since support from CAS IT is required, once these are funded) and can assist in developing the proposal and budget 2) Any possible coordination of proposals/projects can be accomplished 3) Projects that may have College-wide application can be identified and prioritized It is important to note that every application will go forward to ASI for review from the CAS IT Advisory Committee (i.e. the Committee is not eliminating any applications, only coordinating and prioritizing them from the College perspective). Thus, when submitting your letter of intent to ASI (deadline 2/11/02), please provide a copy to the Dean's office. Following this step, information will be provided regarding the handling of the proposals by the Advisory Committee. If you have questions, please contact, Dean Williams, Augustine Asare-Bediako, or me. Thx for your cooperation. -----Original Message----- From: ASI Tech [mailto:asitech@DHVX20.CSUDH.EDU] Sent: Monday, January 28, 2002 2:12 PM To: emailusers Subject: Technology Resource Fee (TRF) Committee - FY 2001-2002 Call for Letters of Intent > Dear Campus Community: > > The Technology Resource Fee (TRF) Committee is calling for proposals for > the 2001-2002 fiscal year. > > Associated Students, Incorporated (ASI) Technology Advancement Program > (TAP) Grants are available for the California State University, Dominguez > Hills campus community.
