The idea of balance fits with the idea of interdependence, and that certainly fits with answerability in hierarchical organizations. I think we need to identify the organizational chart in the background, as against the humans (agents) who have removed themselves from the boxes and are engaged in interpersonal communication.It's interesting that you picked up the balance concept, even though the stat class hadn't had as much time to assimilate answerability as a concept. I value your interpretation, because your perspective probably comes closer to the ordinary person than does that of someone in say, the agencies class, where we have discussed answerability a lot more. jeanne
